Take a screen region capture. Then CTRL V to paste it into a note. Then click on the image. Then click on the code icon to view the link. Then CTRL click on the link. Then delete the image. Back in the note, I noticed that a heart emoji was included within the image name. Thought it was strange and worth mentioning, so I figured I would share it. I am in Restricted Mode.

Do you have any auto-text features—maybe an Obsidian plugin or operating system setting or keyboard setting—that change certain text sequences to emoji or symbols? Such as changing <3 or -H- to a heart.
If you can still recover the deleted png, see what the original file name was, and see if manually typing it creates an emoji.
Yea. I haven’t reproduced it either. I am just using the Snipping Tool. If it happens again, I will mention it here. I’m not very concerned about it. I just thought I would mention it in case someone else had seen something similar before.
To what @dawni said, I recovered the file and it was simply named {DA292075-C92E-42A1-BFC8-23C05D133290}.png without the heart. Also I am running AHK but wasn’t pressing any hotkeys that would trigger any action. I did try typing out the name and it didn’t create the heart. Interesting thought.
