Having issues with command N shortcut to create new Note

Is the default “home” page something coming from a plugin? Maybe a screenshot could help here (from the screen where cmd/ctrl + n isn’t working).

The troubleshooting guide is below to go through to make sure it’s not a community plugin, etc.
