At the moment, I see a download count that determines a plugin’s popularity. I am not sure if the counter is adjusted when a frustrated user uninstalls or disables a plugin.
It’ll be great to have a simple star rating system and let users write a few lines about their experience. This way high quality and usable plugins could rise to the top and users become responsible for actually reviewing the plugins.
