Grouping notes into folders through Bases or properties

Hello, new guy here.
I’ve been using Obsidian for 3 months or so and so far I am enjoying it. And the new core plugin - Bases, is also fun to use. But I see that there are still few things missing in it if you’d compare it to DB Folder.

My question is is there a way to sort files through property like in DB Folder’s Status or through community plugin (until Bases gets that sort of update down the roadmap)?

I did try with several of plugins, but they’ve ended with no desired result so far.

At the top right, click “Sort” and select a property

Thanks, but that’s not what I’m looking for.

In DB Folder there’s a setting that, based on what it says in Status property, sends all the files with that Status into specified folder

Then I take it you want to move existing notes.

In Bases, you can use folder filters to create new notes (notes added via the “+ New” button) in a specified folder.

Bases doesn’t (currently) have a way to auto-move existing notes. Maybe a plugin will in the future.
