Use case or problem
For pages with many incoming links, it’s hard to get an overview of the backlink section. Sorting by name or date helps in some cases, but not all.
Proposed solution
Often the folder structure of a vault provides some sort of context to a note. Whether a note is stored in Daily pages, Project documentation, Atomic notes or Inbox is meta data that says something about the notes context as well.
A setting for the backlink section that would group backlinks based on folder (top level or perhaps even some levels down) could aid in “backlink discovery” for notes with many backlinks.
