For those who manage notes like me and depend on database tables, filtering by “group by” is really necessary, I really can’t live without it, I used it in dataviewjs but wanted BASE to do this too, it’s extremely important in dividing
For example, creating a book management table, if there is no “group by” filter, the huge number of books is very difficult to control and divide by topics, I will have to create more Bases to control, very inconvenient.

thank you so much, this means a lot to me, by the way if this requirement is feasible can obsidian create columns like Notion, let’s say I’m researching about buying a dishwasher, I will have 1 big heading “how to use” and “problems when using a dishwasher” I don’t want it to display in 1 column because scrolling is quite time consuming, I want it to display in columns, in the description image you will see clearly
