[Graph] [Obsidian 1.4+] The graph only shows for a split second after disappearing

Steps to reproduce

1. Clone the issue demo vault
2. Open the vault with the newest version of Obsidian
3. Open the graph view

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide?

Yes. The issue does cannot be reproduced in the Sandbox vault - the graph works just fine. In the demo vault, all extensions have been removed and the default theme is used. I also deleted the .graph.json file to reset settings.

Expected result

Graph should stay visible and be intractable as normal.

Actual result

The graph only shows for a split second, then it looks like it quickly gets smaller until it disappears. After this it is not possible to get the graph to show up even by changing settings.

You have an search active and a long list of excluded folders too

Well, that was embarrassing. Apparently I was not rigorous enough when I went through all settings and deleted the config file.
