Hey everyone!
I’ve recently moved from Windows to Fedora and I plan on continuing using Obsidian as I used to. Back on Windows, I used the integrated Onedrive directory to back up my files, but now on Fedora it doesn’t work as planned.
What I’m trying to do
In Gnome 46, there is a kinda limited Onedrive integration, it works well for must use cases, but the directory is not accessible for Obsidian “open folder as vault”.
Things I have tried
An alternative is to use third-party clients such as onedriver or rclone to inset the onedrive directory into an accessible location for obsidian. Nevertheless, those options are not as smooth as the built-in Gnome integrated Onedrive.
Anyone has had any success in using the integrated Gnome Onedrive client to back up obsidian vaults? If so, any help would be appreciated!
Also, is there any form to choose hidden directories as a vault?
Thanks in advance!!
