Ghost author profile on my plugin listing after GitHub username change

Hi,

I’m the developer of the Custom Views plugin (custom-views). I’m running into an issue with the new community directory that I can’t resolve on my own.

Background:

  • My original GitHub username was anuwup. I changed it to anupchavan, after which the repo moved to anupchavan/obsidian-custom-views.
  • I have since claimed the plugin on community.obsidian.md using my anupchavan GitHub account (which owns the repo).
  • I have also updated manifest.json to set "author": "Anup Chavan" and pushed a new release.

The issue:
The plugin listing at Custom Views - Obsidian Plugin still shows two authorsanuwup and Anup Chavan. The anuwup entry appears to be a ghost pulled from old submission data. It now links to a separate GitHub account that isn’t the plugin owner, which is misleading.

I have tried everything I can from my side (manifest update, new release, community portal claim). The only thing left is for someone with admin access to the directory to remove the orphaned anuwup author entry from this plugin’s listing.

Could someone from the Obsidian team help remove the anuwup entry? Happy to verify ownership in any way needed.

Thanks!

I think this is solved. I see only one author now. Correct?

Yes, thank you.
