Steps to reproduce
In the YAML frontmatter of a note, add an alias. In Settings > Editor, turn on “Show frontmatter”.
Expected result
I expect to see a code block showing the frontmatter with an alias.
Actual result
I see the “show frontmatter” codeblock, as well as a “Metadata” panel with aliases.
Environment
- Operating system: Windows 10
- Obsidian version: 0.10.13

Here is a screenshot of what I mean:
I understand that this may not be undesirable for everyone. Also, it would require not displaying the metadata panel depending on whether the “show frontmatter” setting is on, and whether or not the frontmatter has aliases.
