I want to the date in the Front matter to follow my general date format of YYYY-MM-DD.
The source mode shows that my date is in correct - i.e. desired - format.
But when I switch off the source mode, I get this:
I don’t know what to try.
This could be related to the following bug report:
In any case, the date format for presenting within the properties seems like it’s not directly following any internal setting of Obsidian, but rather uses the system settings to some extent.
Some of the plugins however allows for changing this date format in their views and queries. Like dataview, kanban, meta bind, Templater, and so on… (no particular order or priority 
)
