Frequent sync disconnects causing text mangling

What I’m trying to do

Work without seeing chunks of text disappear or get randomly moved.

Things I have tried

I’ve read a number of posts about sync issues suggesting disabling plugins, etc., but didn’t see anything covering frequent sync disconnects.

I’m getting frustrated at how often the page seems to jump and whatever I was typing is lost, or appears randomly inserted within nearby text. Sometimes a recent deletion will reappear.

It seems to correspond with sync log sections including a “disconnected” line:

I don’t want to file a bug report if there’s just… something else I should be doing? I’m on Windows 11, syncing to iPhone though I rarely use it, and a fast home cable ISP. Vault is under C:/Users/me – Dropbox, iCloud, etc. are not in the picture.

Any idea where to look for the cause of these disconnects? It doesn’t seem like my internet is dropping out in general – I don’t have interruptions in other apps, streaming video, etc.

And if it’s my connection, shouldn’t Obsidian be handling a blip a little more gracefully?
