My vault seems to index nearly every time I launch the app on my computer. It says it should only index once, but it happens frequently. My vault is somewhat large, so this is very annoying.
Things I have tried
I did search for this issue and found other forum posts that seemed to get closed without activity. I didn’t really see many conclusive fixes in the ones I found.
What I’m trying to do
I want to understand indexing better. Why does my vault keep indexing? How do I stop it from indexing so often (since Obsidian says it’s not supposed to be this routine)?
