Quick update on Email2Obsidian (v0.2.1) - and a big thank you 
I launched Email2Obsidian nearly two weeks ago on reddit and I need to give a big thanks to everyone who’s been beta testing and giving genuinely brutal but fair feedback. I’m very grateful.
The goal is easy: a dead-simple, reliable way to get emails, notes, and attachments into Obsidian without scripts, Zapier, or brittle automations.
We do this by giving you a unique private email address that you can then forward anything you like, and have it appear inside your vault in minutes. Everything is automatically deleted within 72 hours so no records are kept.
What’s new in 0.2.1:
- Support for multiple ingestion email addresses - this has been the biggest request, and I’m happy to deliver!
- Uses native Obidian attachment behaviour (so files land exactly how you’d expect)
- More frequent auto-syncing intervals
- GDPR compliance – a proper Delete Account feature is now live
The plugin is still awaiting official approval. In the meantime, you can install via BRAT here.
