Fraction Formatting Issue

What I’m trying to do

I am taking notes for my physics class using obsidian and I am having issues with the formatting of fractions. It used to be fine but suddenly changed and stopped working. For example, I have “E=k\frac{q}{r^2}” written it and it is showing as E=kFqr^2

Things I have tried

I have tried restarting my computer and obsidian but it doesn’t fix the issue.

It’s still working fine for me. Do you happen to install any community plugin that could potentially break this?
