I looked in the forums for a solution, but could not find one.
after some trial and error I found that writing “<X” where X is any string causes the following images to not appear in edit mode
Was this topic meant for the bug reports category or a post to help others?
In any event, if you type (for example) <a or <a>, Obsidian thinks you are opening an HTML tag. Links, embedded images, markdown formatting, etc., will not work after that unless you properly close or escape the tag.
