Does https://www.discourse.org/ support that format?
(I haven’t checked yet)
I suppose it should support this, because I can use WEBP in the Obsidian Chinese Forum ( forum-zh.obsidian.md)
By default, Discourse allows image file types (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, heic, heif, webp, and avif).
Admins can also add more file extensions to the
authorized extensionsandauthorized extensions for staffsite settings to allow other types of files, such as .pdf, .docx, .mp3, etc.
I guess they removed it for some reason. As it’s becoming increasingly popular, I agree with @Moy to enable it. If there aren’t some voodoo reasons
Cheers, Marko
So.. would it be possible to add support for WebP images?
I frequently share articles from my Obsidian vault to forums, but since all my images are in WebP format, the publishing process becomes cumbersome.
Mods can’t change anything like this. I passed it on.
Roger that, thank you!
