What I’m trying to do
I use a lot of formatting in Obsidian, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the Search feature (the one next to Files in the sidebar) to not show all the formatting? For example, when I search for DNA, I will get a result that is difficult to read, that looks like this:
“ ++DNA polymerase++ [[Catalyst|catalyses]] the [[Elongation|elongation]] of a new [[DNA]] strand during [[DNA|DNA replication]] using an existing [[DNA]] strand as a template. “
But I want it to format as:
” DNA polymerase catalyses the elongation of a new DNA strand during DNA replication using an existing DNA strand as a template. “
The same applies to linked mentions, as well. I find that I just end up not reading the text results at all because they’re too hard to look at, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the search feature to begin with.
Things I have tried
All I’ve tried so far is to search for an existing community plugin, or a setting, but I couldn’t find either. I don’t know how to program, so I have no idea how to change this.
