(For Chris) How to use Obsidian to write a book

Hey all!

I made a video for my buddy Chris who is writing a book currently.

It’s a short walk-through on how to leverage Obsidian to “collect, connect and contribute” interesting and novel ideas with Obsidian (Which I’m obsessed with and I happily pay for)

Check it out and hopefully you find an inspiration or two

The video is here: https://youtu.be/pP4AeGY2mz4

PS: I guess it’s more of a general “How I use Obsidian to Come Up with New Ideas” and less about the writing/editing process for a book. But, yeah, I think those things are well-covered. I recorded it with the intention to look at the discovery process.
PPS: A lot of the general Zettelkasten ideas are based on Curtis McHale’s videos at https://www.youtube.com/user/SFNdesignWP which I’ve enjoyed a lot.

Alexis, a very nice intro!
I learned a few new things (had no idea about that YAML graph thing–wow).
I will rewatch just to make sure I get it all.
Thanks for doing this.

Thanks @pantoufle! Let me know if you have any questions. For the Mermaid graphs, I use the developer’s examples as my springboard: https://mermaid-js.github.io/mermaid/diagrams-and-syntax-and-examples/examples.html
