Footnotes view to locate the original texts

I am very happy that footnotes view in Obsidian v1.9.10 has been updated with a sidebar tab, which means that I can view the original texts and footnotes in the sidebar at the same time. And I might not need to install another third-party note annotation add-ons any more.
But I find that footnotes in the sidebar can’t locate the original text as I thought before. On the contrary, it can only locate footnotes at the end of the note. So if I want to locate the original texts via footnotes in the sidebar, I need to first locate the footnote at the end, and then locate the original texts.
It is somehow effort-taking.
Moreover, the footnotes in the sidebar is editable by one single click. It makes me feel uncertain because I might change the content by accidental clicks.
But I still love this add-on!
I hope that footnotes view with a sidebar tab will be better in future version updates:
1. There are two buttons, one to locate the original text and one to locate the footnote at the end.
2. One Click on the footnote in the sidebar just selects the footnote, double-clicking is for editing.

For more inspiration, try annotations in Zotero. It can achieve locating and double-clicking without any add-ons and a global card view with an add-on.
