Folders being created within Obsidian that do not exist in File Explorer

Steps to reproduce

Create a folder with “.” in the name, such as “Misc.”

Expected result

An empty, new folder within the vault’s location in the File Explorer that can be interacted with.

Actual result

A new folder within the vault’s location in the File Explorer that is said to not exist when interacted with.

The problem is very simple so it shouldn’t be hard to reproduce.
