Steps to reproduce
- Open a vault with a few folders in it and some files in each folder
- Pass the mouse quickly horizontally over the Files panel (from the document view to the left outside of the Obsidian window, or outside the left of the window and into the document view)

The folder that was passed over briefly gets expanded after a delay, even though the mouse is no longer over the

If it’s intentional behaviour, it’s fine so long as I can disable expanding folders on mouse hover, but research suggests that no such setting exists.
The solution from my point of view is either:
- Mouse hovers do not expand a folder if the mouse is no longer hovered over it after the action delay, or
- If that’s intended behaviour, a setting exists to disable expanding folders on mouse hover
