Does Obsidian plan to add Anki like features? I just stumbled upon Remnote and while I haven’t started using it, an introductory video shows that it combines the best of Obsidian/Roam backlinks with the ability to easily create flash cards.
There’s been discussions about possible one or more third party plugins when the API is opened up for staggered memory learning. I suspect there will be more than one…
I think Remnote is a good alternative in the meantime. However, I don’t know if you can export your notes later in a markdown format to import them in obsidian.
A couple of plugins have been developed for his use case.
I know this is an old thread but I just stumbled upon NeuraCache App that has a plugin for obsidian. IMO it’s the best for flashcards and active recall system.
