Finding connections in unlinked notes

What I’m trying to do

I am new to Obsidian so there may already be a solution.
I have added a large number of notes from various folders on my PC and would like to link notes with similar content/keywords. Is there a way to do this or must I go through each note and create links?

Things I have tried

I have created a couple of links in Notes which are fine. I have used the search feature for Keyword, which it has highlighted but is there a way to change those highlights to links?

Easiest way is to use the plugin Find orphaned files and broken links.
You can also install it directly in Obsidian’s Settings → Community plugins .

You’re new so you may not know of backlinks, in particular a class of backlinks known as unlinked mentions. Backlinks is a native plugin (nothing to install, just turn it on).

Once enabled, you’ll find them in a left side panel.

You can also see Unlinked mentions which are text strings in files that match the title of the file you are viewing. You can click a button to link that text to the file you are currently viewing.

Thank you. That worked. So much to learn
Also trying a plugin Find Orphaned Files. Haven’t figured that out yet.

Thank you for replying. I have installed this plugin but unsure of the term " Call the command Find orphaned files"

I have also used backlinks which worked fine.
Now I am just trying to understand plugins and how they work.
