Files in excluded directory should be removed from local graph aswell as main graph view

Hi,

I have a folder containing all of my bases and I have excluded this folder by adding it into the excluded files in Files and Links.

These bases no longer appear in global graph view or in Search, however these still appear in local graph view. I think the behaviour should be that links to bases (or files in excuded directories) should be excluded from the local graph view as well.

For example, I have a note with a link to another note and containing a base which is imported/used by multiple notes and the graph view looks like this - which makes the local graph unusable for navigating related notes if I take use a base in multiple notes.

thanks

I took up kepano’s idea to add categories with bases links into the properties of every note. ( kepano-obsidian/Notes/2023 Japan Trip.md at main · kepano/kepano-obsidian · GitHub ) The idea is super. The problem is now the links in the local graph exploded. With graph depth 1 it look like this:

But with Depth 2 the graph is out of control:

Could it be a way to filter out the links from bases?
