Things I have tried

I noticed that at least one .md file is no longer showing in Obsidian, despite being in the same place in the same vault as before. I’m using iCloud sync. I googled and looked at the “similar to” prompts and couldn’t see anything remotely similar.

Mac OS 11.4, M1 Macbook Air.

I assume I can force import the file somehow, but holding off doing that in case it erases helpful bug diagnosis data. Not sure how many files are affected.

what do you mean non indexed? Can you post a screen recording without plugins/theme?

I have one suggestion: Do you have some huge markdown file in your vault? some file that is not really markdown but you really renamed .md?
