Steps to reproduce
- Add a big PDF to your vault. In my case I was testing with the “Pathfinder 2e Kingmaker” PDF (around 650 pages).
- Have said PFD open and visible.
- Drag a folder in the file explorer around.
- Obsidian is very slow to respond to mouse movements (unexpected)
Now the proof that is has to do with the PDF.
- Close the tab with the PDF (or switch to another tab so that the PDF is no longer visible).
- Drag a folder in the file explorer around.
- Draging is smooth.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y
Yes, tested with the sandbox vault with the PDF added to it.
Expected result
Obsidian does not slow down and dragging is smooth.
Actual result
Obsidian slows down and dragging is not smooth.
