I’m just beginning to work with the Wikipedia theme, and I seem to just absolutely lack an understanding of how the floats work here. I have a limited background in HTML and CSS, in the early 00s I used to make and host my own websites and do very basic things so I get the idea of Floats and how they would be used in divs but all of the Obsidian specific stuff just confuses me. I’m not even trying to do anything fancy just mimic a basic Wiki page. So far that, all of my floats are.. not floating and in fact just stacking on top of each other.
Example page included
So the actual stuff I tried: all of my call out together, and the wall of text before it, all of the call out and the wall of text after it, i’ve tried putting the separate wall of text and call out in Divs which just broke the call out, I tried inserting the wall of text in callout floating left opposite of the information call out floating right.
Maybe I’m just wildly out of practicing and am overlooking something incredibly simple (incredibly probable), but something about the way Obsidian (which I love) changes and over rides CSS just ends up leaving me totally confused and unable to problem solve, so anyone who can shed some light on what I’m doing wrong, would be greatly appreciated.
