While I understand it’s not feasible right now, I’ll add my support for this request shall things evolve. Being able to open .md files in Obsidian directly from the Files app would make vaults more accessible system-wide and partly address the request for the vault to be indexed by system search. Even if iOS can’t search .md content yet, just finding file names would be a big improvement!
