Use case or problem
When trying to select a range of words to highlight, bold, or italicize, but find it a bit tedious to have to double tap the first word then carefully drag the selection region character by character to to exactly match the last character of the final word of the desired region, then finally trigger the command.
Proposed Solution
If the highlight, bold, or italicize command automatically snapped word by word and didn’t require you to make selection first then trigger command. Perhaps since Reading Mode already has the word snapping selection behavior, these formatting commands could be implemented within Reading Mode. Essentially the commands could work similarly to Kindle or the like.
