Fatal unable to read tree

Did not find “fatal: unable to read tree”

What I’m trying to do

When I open Obsidian, it periodically pops up alert near top right:
fatal: unable to read tree e476a8a13a2ceaf343cdcef541833eaf1c1a5489

Things I have tried

Unable to reproduce the error in sandbox

unable to read tree

I think it first occurred when I renamed a note that was pinned on one tab, also opened on another tab.

fatal: unable to read tree sounds like a possible git error. Are you using one of the git plugins?

I am using a Git plugin. I’ll try to disable and troubleshoot there
