Yes it is possible with the Templater plugin, but as you said it will require some effort. Alternatively, you could use the Bases plugin, which I think would be easier.

For the grocery list you could use an embedded search for completed tasks and however you identify recipes. For example if your recipes are all in a folder named “Recipes”: ~~~query path:"recipes/" todo-done:/./ ~~~ The /./ is a regular expression matching any character (so it will show all comple…
