Family solution

Hi there guys,

I am looking into creating a family note-taking solution and I would like to ask some questions to the community.

My questions are as follows:

  1. I personally edit notes as markdown files in neovim and other family members will use obsidians interface. Will this work with obsidian sync?

  2. How can syncing within a family be achieved with obsidian?

    • Should we use one single account for the whole family?
      Paying for ten accounts within a familly is too expensive.
    • Is it possible to use multiple accounts and pay for one single account to sync notes within family
      and then use a personal acct for private stuff?
