Steps to reproduce

This is macOS specific. The problem arises when doing a drag+drop operation using a note in Obsidian to carry as a link to a different app. The specific case is documented at this link on the Zengobi / Curio forum.

  • Put Obsidian and Curio side-by-side in split view
  • Create a blank Idea Space in Curio
  • Drag + drop a note from Obsidian to the Idea Space

Expected result

the expected result is a hyperlink to the note with the title of the note

Actual result

the actual result is a figure item without a title

Required fix

→ fill the clipboard contents with full and proper information about the note at a drag+drop operation

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS
  • Obsidian version: 0.12.3

Additional information

The test could likely also be done using Pages + Obsidian. The expectation might be that a drag + drop operation would create a hyperlink in Pages.

The drag and drop is proper. You just want more information (which is a legitimate request)

This is not a bug. This is a feature request. I suggest you open one and don’t limit yourself to curio or even mac.
