When I try to open a new note Obsidian create the note but doesn’t open it. For a moment the message “failed to open” appears. I can find the note “untitled_n” in my folder but I have to search for it in my files.
I have tried to restart Obsidian,
I have tried to disable all the plugin,
I have tried to activate the limited mode
I have tried to disinstall and install Obsidian but the problem persists. I tried to put a new vault on my PC and the problem disappear. So the problem is about where my vault is, on Google Drive. But my vault has been there, on google drive from the begining without any problem! What could be the problem now? (I have space enough on Google drive)
Google Drive has “streaming” and “mirroring” options if I recall correctly. I’d check to make sure you have the “mirroring” option set for any Obsidian vaults.
I have the same problem. I’m also storing my notes (and have been since forever) in Google Drive. the folder in G is “stored offline”, as it can be seen from this picture:
I have tried disabling ALL plugins (custom and first party) and that didn’t help. I tried setting the default theme too. I’m out of ideas :(.
