Yes, it happens with, like, all 3rd party plugins.
I’ve never succeeded to install any plugin that is downloaded from github.
how are you installing the plugins exactly?
you need to download the release of the plugin not a zip file of the whole repo.

This sounds like the issue I’ve been having (fail to load/install community plugins, as well as obsidian crashing sometimes if they do work!). Would like to try to download the release, as you suggest, but have no idea how to do this.
