Extract Figure of PDF inside Obsidian

Use case or problem

I am using Obsidian to take notes while reading CS research papers. However, while working with some extensions like Annotator, I faced a limitation in loading figures in PDF file to my note. Is there any way to capture the images in PDF document and upload it on my MD note?

Proposed solution

I saw the mobile app Flexcil supports this function. Similar process with this will be great.

You could consider using the Better PDF Plugin.
It allows you to specify a region and page of a pdf and embed it in your note.
Unfortunately, it does not have a graphical interface, so specifying the region you want to embed can be a bit cumbersome.
