What I’m trying to do
Hello - first time here on the forum, so please excuse me if I’ve missed something obvious.
Can someone please confirm the expected behaviour when importing a template into a note. I’m finding that comments such as “# This is a comment” in the Frontmatter section are omitted during the insert process. The comments are useful annotations to explain some of the properties so ideally I would like them to be included. I can see that some people may see the removal of comments as a desired feature, whereas in my case, it isn’t helpful. Can someone please verify the behaviour I’m experiencing and suggest a workaround or whether this could be a configuration option that I should raise as a feature request.
