Exclude children bullets / text when block referencing lists / headers

Hi!

I’m trying a new way of using the daily notes pages together with projects notes. Up until now, I’ve logged everything in my DNP and linked from my project pages.

Now, I want to try to do the logging directly in the project pages and block ref from my DNP. The rationale is that I want a better overview of specific projects.

I’ve tried to ways: To start every log entry in the project pages with a markdown header or as a parent item in a bullet list. But when I block reference the header or parent bullet in the DNP, all children / text following the header / parent is included in the DNP as well. I only want the header linked to the project pages.

Can that be achieved?
