enter creates a new row instead of selecting the next row. The operation of selecting up and down rows is already controlled by up and down quiet, and the role of enter in MD is to create a new next row, and every time pressing enter becomes jumping to the next row, it feels strange
I want the operations in the table to be as similar as possible to the operations outside the table
Maybe, if this is not an option, adding a modifier key to make a new row with enter (such as ctrl-enter) could be an option. In this case, this should also be able for columns using the tab equivalent of the hotkey. Also, I would assume hitting tab to create a new column if a cell in the rightmost column was selected.
I’m really surprised to find out that apparently there is no keyboard shortcut for this very essential task when filling in data into tables and I’m forced to use rightclick which is really annoying when doing a typing task. This even has its own shortcut in Apple Notes, being Option+Cmd+Arrow Down
