I just discovered Obsidian today, and created a new vault just now. When I tried creating a new note, this error appeared:

Error: ENONENT: no such file or directory, open ‘C:\Users\redacted\Documents\Obsidian\Personal[Untitled.md](http://untitled.md/)’

When I tried to write something on the Welcome page, this error appeared:

I’ve tried looking to reddit and the forum for a solution but I honestly couldn’t make heads or tails of anything. :sweat_smile:

I think that means that Obsidian can’t save the file for some reason. Copy the contents somewhere, and maybe restart the computer and watch for future errors. Hopefully it’s just a transient glitch. I’ve seen posts about similar errors but don’t remember any of the details.
