Hello,

The Mindmap in the Obsidian plugin store is great but there a few things that I think could make it a lot better.

  • The ability to include folders and subfolders as part of a Mindmap.
  • The ability to autogenerate Mindmaps for embedding in a note
  • The ability to remove certain elements from being generated for the Mindmap (Ex: Code snippets)
  • The ability to manually add or remove individual nodes

I know there hasn’t been many replies to issues in the GH or recent updates so I wanted to add a post here for visibility.

yeah, being able to edit it would be nice for sure, but i think the plugin is just making this app usable in obsidian. the original one is for VS Code iirc. Maybe someone could make a new implementation of the idea special for obsidian

What exactly existing plugin are you talking about?

This is really one to send to the developer of the mindmap third-party plug-in.
