Enable resizing in android app for Samsung DeX

Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect Samsung device which has DeX, to a display, trough a working USB-C Hub, for example: trough 1 of the hubs made by Orico.
  2. Open Obsidian on the DeX screen, and try to resize it.

Expected result

The window is resized.

Actual result

The window can’t be resized, same as some other apps. (this missing support for Samsung DeX was already reported to Acode team)

Samsung DeX sets apps to mode which makes their GUI elements have sizes which are reasonable for desktop environment, its highly useful.

I am not sure who the acode is.

As far i understood, these configs are general-purpose and Obsidian is just misconfigured. Can you check out the documentation page i linked?

Acode is a VS Code analog for Android, they are another app that got this issue.

What you are asking is legitimate but it’s not a bug per se.
