Steps to reproduce
Open sandbox vault, copy an image into the first page.
The image is shown on the page.
Then open the image and rename it so that it contains an umlaut:
from ![[Pasted image 20250622232439.png]]
to ![[Pasted image ä 20250622232439.png]]
. The image is not shown anymore and it looks like a missing file, even thoug it is still there:
When using another image-viewer on the system the file looks ok:
After removing the umlaut the image gets shown again in Obsidian as expected.

Yes.
Expected result
I expect to see the image regardless of umlaut in filenames.
Actual result
As soon as there is an umlaut in the filename, the image is not shown anymore. The same goes also for embedded PDF.

OS: KDE neon 6.3
Obsidian: 1.9.2 as Snap
