Embed Outline (automatic table of contents)

Use case or problem

When writing guides or longer articles, one often needs a table of contents embedded into the note itself, or maybe the sidebar is busy, or the user doesn’t like the sidebar.

Proposed solution

Add an option to embed the Outline core plugin’s sidebar into a note itself, for a sort of Automatic Table of Contents (which is, by the way, a plugin). Because all data should be in a note itself, and not require opening Obsidian to view the TOC.

Current workaround (optional)

Automatic Table of Contents plugin can generate one, the Outline sidebar can be used.

I also miss something similar – I find the Table of Contents location in the Sidebar very inconvenient, because Sidebars themselves seem very inconvenient to interact with…
But at the same time, placing it directly in the file itself causes another problem – the Table of Contents will only be accessible when the file’s scrollbar is in the corresponding position, and when you need to use the Table of Contents, you will have to manually return to that position each time. This is also inconvenient.
I would like the Table of Contents to be located somewhere in the corner of the file viewport, accessible from anywhere in the file, and not necessitate the use of Sidebars.
