Elementra: Where Obsidian Meets the Elements
What if your Obsidian vault didn’t just look different — what if it felt different?
That was the idea behind Elementra.
Inspired in part by Avatar: The Last Airbender, I wanted to explore what could happen if an Obsidian theme treated elements as worlds, rather than simple colour palettes.
Elementra brings six worlds into one vault:
Fire — energy, heat, intensity
Water — flow, calm, movement
Wind — freedom, air, atmosphere
Earth — stability, structure, nature
Lightning — power, speed, inspiration
Void — gravity, space, mystery
With Style Settings, you can switch between them and transform the atmosphere of your workspace.
Not just the colours.
The backgrounds, surfaces, artwork, borders, highlights, visual effects, and overall mood change with the element.
Your notes stay the same.
Your files stay the same.
Your knowledge stays the same.
Only the world around them changes.
That’s what I wanted Elementra to capture: a workspace that can feel energetic one day, calm the next, grounded when you need focus, or completely cosmic when you want to disappear into your thoughts.
