I stumbled upon a game-changer for those of us who frequently juggle between insightful ChatGPT sessions and our beloved Obsidian vaults: a Google Chrome extension aptly named “Save ChatGPT to Obsidian”!

For Firefox users:
There is an addon called " Export ChatGPT" which exports chats as markdown - maybe similarly useful.

Not for me, everything is broken with this, including the Medium article the extension links to.

It looks OK but just too simple though it exports the chat with right format:

  1. it export the whole chat while it is very needed that to provide a view to let user can select only needed coversation instead of the whole chat every time
  2. it removed the code block’s type, so there is no code highlight in obsidian anymore
