You should be able to long-press on file-tree-view and choose “close” to close it.
Below are the FRs regarding mobile sidebars I could pull up in a quick search. We are limited in what we can easily change at the moment.
Doesn’t seem to be a way to move modules between panes on mobile (I’m using iPhone). E.g., I’d like to add Calendar and a couple notes to right sidebar, but see no way to do so.
Use case or problem
I do a lot of my work on my phone and soon my Android tablet, and use regularly a combination of Calendar and Chronology. This works well on my PC, but on my phone the right sidebar shows only one item, with PLENTY of space below. Could we use it, please?
Most modern phones and tablets have significant real estate (often more than older laptops) that we could use in the left and right side bars, currently limited to one item.
Proposed solution
Create 2 to 3 v…
Could it be possible to place the the icons for Search, Files, Tags & Bookmarks in the sidebar to switch more quickly?

Just like on desktop would be nice to assign a note ad the pane to the right hand side, so like Calendar be able to add specific note to that right panel to be accessible throughout.
Things like Tasks would live well there where they use dataview
If you are up to it, you can also manually edit the VAULT/.obsidian/workspace-mobile.json file to move things around (this settings file is per-vault).
