Duplicate file open in tab

Use case or problem

Not sure if it is a bug or feature. I sometimes click on the same file even though it is already opened in the tab. So in the end I have multiple tab open of the same file.

Proposed solution

Is there a for obsidian to check if the file is already opened, then switch to and make the tab active? instead of opening it in a new tab.
Not sure if it is a setting I have set wrong but it can be annoying at times.

Hi welcome to the forum. Please search around before making new bug reports of feature requests. You’ll find existing threads or workarounds. “No Dupe Leaves” is a plugin which tries to help with this. And there are existing feature requests to handle this.
