Duplicate character or emoji after links (replacements)

Steps to reproduce

Make sure that Live Preview is turned on.

Place the cursor to the right of the link
Windows + . to enter a single emoji character

Expected result

The emoji will be typed once.

Actual result

The emoji will be typed twice.

Environment

Operating system: Windows 11

Additional information

The same problem also occurs when using Microsoft IME to type Japanese. The problem I am having is this one, but I am posting it as an emoji problem so that more people can reproduce it.

Windows IME confused when typing next to replacements

When typing full-width punctuation characters at the exact spot that a replaceme…nt has happened, the Chinese IME on Windows ends up doing really weird things. I think it's getting confused by the `&ZeroWidthSpace;`. Just tried with 1.1.9(and a complete reinstalling), but I can still reproduce the problem.
